Customized Classes
Individual Instruction: For students seeking a personalized, one-on-one learning experience, classes are offered to single individuals. Each lesson is designed to meet the on-going language goals of each student. The student is supported by a personalized learning model which is presented in a caring, respectful environment. Each student is invited and encouraged to share individual experiences, ideas, concerns, observations, and viewpoints. Conversational dialogues and “opinion discussions” are often employed as students increase their proficiency. Individual classes are offered during the day, evening, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Group Classes: Group classes are offered to companies and organizations that are seeking custom-tailored programs to meet their unique business needs. Classes are leveled in advance so that all students are placed in a class that supports their level of proficiency. All group classes offer the participants development-appropriate instruction. Group classes are offered during the day, evening, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Online Learning: For students who may not be able to attend classes in person, on-line classes or e-learning is available. Textbooks and other learning resources may be purchased prior to the beginning of on-line classes. Classes can be scheduled to accommodate different time zones and working hours.
Immersion Classes: An Immersion Class is a powerful, intensive language learning experience offered in an enriched, fully-engaged teaching environment. By attending full-day Immersion Classes that span a week or more, students can accelerate their progress. Personalized Immersion Classes can be offered at a meeting facility or company site for the convenience of the student. Classes can be taught anywhere within the United States.
Field Trips (Cultural Training): For students who would like to experience first-hand the cultural treasures of the Metro-Detroit area, field trips can be arranged to the Detroit Institute of Arts (The DIA), the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) at Orchestra Hall, The Henry Ford Museum and Village and the Detroit Zoo.
